The Wicomico Hunt Club
Established: 1929 , Recognized: 1932
A time honored tradition on the Delmarva Peninsula
Wicomico Hunt Club has organized meets every Wednesday and Sunday from September through March on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, and in Delaware. The pack consists of American, Penn-Marydel, and Crossbred hounds. The terrain is broad fields, forest and wetlands along the rivers and tributaries to the Chesapeake Bay. Jumps are natural obstacles, some coops, and ditches. Uniquely, Wicomico Hunt still chases exclusively red fox.
